<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device whose display performance is enhanced by providing a semiconductor element having a thin film electrode which has low and stabilized electric resistance. SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display device formed by using a transparent electrode substrate consisting of a gate electrode, a gate insulating layer, a first semiconductor layer, a second semiconductor layer, a source and drain electrode and a pixel electrode which are laminated in this order on a transparent substrate, the gate electrode and the source and drain electrode are formed by using a metal material consisting of 95-99.8 atom% aluminum and 0.2-5 atom% one or more kinds of metals selected from iridium, palladium and platinum and having >=5.0 electron volt work function value measured by UV electron spectroscopy.</p> |
