PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently separate an undissolved lump of flour in a gelatinous electrolytic solution to be used for an adjustment of a gelatinous zinc negative electrode for an alkaline battery and extremely shorten the adjustment time of the solution. SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of the gelatinous electrolytic solution to be used for the adjustment of the gelatinous zinc negative electrode for the alkaline battery impregnates a gelatinizing agent with an aqueous solution to mix the swelled gel in a stirring (1) process in a step S4 after charging the gelatinizing agent into an alkaline aqueous solution then separates the undissolved lump of the flour in a process of charging the mixture through gear liquid feeding in a step S5. Further, in a stirring (2) process in a step S6, the gel in the gelatinous electrolytic solution is mixed to be dispersed evenly. Thus, the adjustment time of the gelatinous electrolytic solution is extremely shortened and further the discharge property of the alkaline battery is stabilized. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
