PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hanger for holding a container for storing mainly a liquid, adaptable to containers of various sizes. SOLUTION: The container hanger 10 is composed of an attaching part 11 with an engagement part 11a at the upper end and a support part 12, and a slot-shaped insertion part 13 is formed in the support part 12. The width of the insertion part 13 varies according to the position in the longitudinal direction. The support part 12 has the angle in the range from 93 degrees to 95 degrees to the attaching part 11. A container body 2 and a cap 4 are separated and a neck part 3 is inserted into the insertion part 13 from below. Then, the cap 4 is attached to the neck part 3 projecting upward to be tightened. In this way, an edge 13a of the insertion part 13 is held between the container body 2 and the cap 4 and the container 1 is held by the hanger. Since the insertion part 13 has such a shape as the width varies, containers 1 of various sizes can be held by one of the container hanger 10.
