PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device accomplishing the enhancement of efficiency of image diagnosing by displaying a similar image.

SOLUTION: A storage section 4 stores the data of a plurality of already diagnosed images whose images were diagnosed and a plurality of diagnosing names while correlating them. A feature quantity calculating section 5 calculates a plurality of feature quantities on the plurality of respective, already diagnosed images. A feature quantity determining section 6 determines a plurality of inherent feature quantities of a plurality of candidate names of tumor tissue types from the plurality of feature quantities based on the calculated values of the feature quantities. An input section 3 inputs the data of not diagnosed images. A diagnosing name candidate determining section 7 determines the candidates of the tumor tissue type of the not diagnosed images from the plurality of the tumor tissue types using the plurality of the inherent feature quantities. A similar image determining section 8 determines at least one already diagnosed image correlated to the determined candidates of the tumor tissue types from the plurality of already diagnosed images. A display section 9 displays at least one of determined and already diagnosed images and the not diagnosed images.
