PURPOSE: Provided are Y-polyethyleneglycol(PEG)derivative as novel biopolymer having higher bio-affinity and reactant groups covalently bonding to target, and method for synthesizing the same useful as medicines or medical apparatus. CONSTITUTION: The Y-PEG derivative is based on core having three binding sites and has PEG to two acidic groups and reactant group on the rest amine group (wherein in Y-PEG, PEGs attach to two binding sites around the core while reactant group on the rest binding site). The core molecule is aspartic acid or glutamic acid. L-aspartic-Y-PEG compound having the following formula 1 is obtained treating N-Boc-L-aspartic acid and m PEG-amine by using 1-£3-(dimethylamino)propyl-3-ethylcarbodiimide hydrochloride| in the presence of organic solvent to bind two mPEGs then conducting deprotection of reactant agent for the obtained derivative.
