The vehicle has at least one tilting carriage (1) with a current pick-up (3) on its roof (2) which can be tilted oppositely to the carriage. The pick-up is mounted with its carrier (4) on a flat part of the roof via supporting insulators (5). The arrangement and shape of the insulators are selected so that the resulting electrical leakage path (K) between the pick-up carrier and the roof is longer than the minimum air gap (L) between the lowest part of the pick-up with a voltage applied to it and the roof. The insulation distance (A) measured perpendicular to the roof between the lowest part and the lower end of the insulator is less than the minimum air gap.
