<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress peeling off between a solid oxide electrolyte and an electrode and cracking of the solid oxide electrolyte in a solid oxide fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: The solid oxide fuel cell 100 is constituted by stacking a first electrode 20, a solid oxide electrolyte 30, and a second electrode 40 in this order on a porous metal substrate 10. In the solid oxide electrolyte 30, a first electrolyte layer 32 made of zirconia (ZrO<SB>2</SB>) is formed on the side coming in contact with the second electrode 40, and a second electrolyte layer 34 made of zirconia (ZrO<SB>2</SB>) and silica (SiO<SB>2</SB>) having Young's modulus lower than that of zirconia is formed on the side coming in contact with the first electrode 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
