PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, system and computer-readable storage medium for switching from an appliance to an aligner in orthodontic treatment.SOLUTION: An appliance attached to teeth is retained until prescribed criteria are satisfied. Upon satisfaction of the prescribed criteria, a plurality of aligners are ordered while the appliance is retained on the teeth.
