PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology with which the use frequency of paper feeding cassettes can be precisely distributed according to the number of prints of a job and the use state of the paper feeding cassettes.SOLUTION: When a job is submitted, a paper feeding source selection control unit 81 refers to a paper feeding cassette information storage unit 101, searches from a first paper feeding unit 52-1 to the n-th paper feeding unit 52-n in ascending order from a paper feeding unit having the shortest recording paper conveyance distance to a recording unit 7 until a paper feeding unit is found, which has the smallest accumulated number of sheets of paper fed with the addition of the number of prints of a job, and selects the searched paper feeding unit as the paper feeding source. |
