PURPOSE: A sewing machine is provided to reduce manufacturing costs while preventing floating of an object to be sewn by a center presser foot regardless of change of a sewing state of kinds of the object to be sewn. CONSTITUTION: A sewing machine includes the following: a principal axis angle detecting unit detecting an angle of a main shaft which is driven by a motor; a center presser foot(29) preventing floating an object to be sewn; a center presser foot up and down unit moving the center presser foot; a center presser foot height adjusting unit adjusting a height of the presser foot; and a height control unit of the center presser foot controlling a center presser foot motor(42). The height control unit of the center presser foot controls the center presser foot motor to maintain the final output shaft angle of a variable control section. |
