PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attempt far more protection for skiers regardless of the direction of a ski board being equipped, by having a holding means in which boots have a locally asymmetric shape and in which holding equipment cooperates with the asymmetric shape of the boots and varying a trip threshold value according to the actuated direction of the boots against the holding equipment. SOLUTION: A contact segment 25 is installed in the outsole part of a boot. This segment is positioned adjacent to the center surface and is asymmetric. The left side part of the outsole of the boot has a slightly wavy shape 26. The wavy shape 26 part is slightly off on the left side of the boot to facilitate to be supported against the left side of a boss 32. When the boot actuates a holding flange part to the right, the boss 32 elastically prevents the wavy shape part 26 from moving sideways in this direction. As a result, an additional supplementary holding force is generated, which is applied to the trip limit value of the holding equipment in this moving direction of the outsole of the boot. As for a movement in the reverse direction, the outsole of the boot can move sideways against the flange part for the entirety of the wavy shape part 26 and the boss 32 without counteracting this movement. |
