Door casing frame for wall jambs

Both parts of the door casing frame (1,2) are made of sheet metal or plastics and the main part (1) extends over a relatively larger part of the jamb width as compared with the side part (2) of the frame over a small part of this width only. Both parts are joined by a plug-in clamping connection at their adjoining ends (1.2,2.2) and the main frame part (1) is drilled through (1.3) in the centre of the jamb width for fastening screws etc. Additional components include the insulating plates (3.1-3.4) forming the main faces of the wall to take an inserted U-profile (3.5). The main frame part (1) ends in an U profile (1.2) to form a receiving groove for the conformably U-shaped end (2.2) of the side part (2).
