PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mast structure of a forklift capable of easily adjusting play in the direction of width, reducing time and labor required in manufacture, and facilitating management of members and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: A mast 1 provided in the forklift C is provided with an inner mast 3 and an outer mast 4. The inner mast 3 is provided with a pair of inner mast rails 31, 32, which are mutually connected by inner mast beams 33, 34. The outer mast 4 is provided with a pair of outer mast rails 41, 42, which are mutually connected by outer mast beams 43, 44, 45. The inner mast beams 33, 34 are connected with the inner mast rails 31, 32 by bolts, and the outer mast beams 43, 44, 45 are connected with the outer mast rails 41, 42 by bolts.
