PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diversity receiver front end system including a variable gain amplifier.SOLUTION: A diversity reception system 400 includes controllers 120, 302 configured to selectively activate one or more of a plurality of paths, between the input of a first multiplexer 312 and the output of a second multiplexer 311. The diversity reception system 400 is further provided with band pass filters 313a-313d, respectively, along a corresponding path among a plurality of paths, and filters the signals received in the band pass filters to respective frequency bands. In the diversity reception system 400, variable gain amplifiers (VGA)314a-314d are provided in a corresponding path among the plurality of paths, and amplify the signals received in the VGA, with a gain controlled by the amplifier control signals received from the controller 120.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
