PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe and simple purification method in which only solvent usable for make-up and food is used so as to solve problems that: in a conventional chromatography method using mix solvent of organic solvent, such as chloroform/methanol, hexane/acetone, for obtaining high-purity cerebroside from crude extract containing saccharide ceramide (cerebroside) extracted from viscera of Asterias amurensis and butter serum, solvent, such as chloroform, having high toxicity cannot be used in production of food and the like; and that when the mix solvent is used, organic solvent is difficult to be recycled, requiring high cost, thus it has not been utilized in industry.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for purification of cerebroside at a high purity by chromatography from crude extract selected from animal, plant, bacteria, yeast and derivatives thereof and containing cerebroside in which only acetone is used as solvent.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
