PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compensate signal degradation caused when transmitting image signals, in an endoscope apparatus for outputting video signals from a video scope through a processor.SOLUTION: In a patient circuit A, digital R, G, and B image signals for comparison are generated from analog R, G and B image signals before being transmitted to a secondary circuit B. Also, in the secondary circuit B, digital R, G, and B image signals are generated from analog R, G, and B image signals for output. Then, in the digital R, G, and B image signals for comparison and the digital R, G, and B image signals for video images having the same frame/field number (readout timing), pixel signal levels of the same pixel position are compared with each other, and whether or not a signal strength difference is generated is detected. When the signal strength difference is generated, degraded signals are corrected by adjusting a gain value in R, G, and B gain processing in an image processing circuit 24. |
