PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which can photograph a moving image without riffling feeling even if an object luminance changes, and to provide a control method of the imaging apparatus and a program.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: an imaging section 1 for repetitively acquiring image data for one frame at a first period, dividing a period of one frame into the prescribed number of divided frames and repetitively outputting divided image data for each divided frame; a gain application section 15 for detecting a subject luminance and applying a gain to a plurality of pieces of divided image data outputted from the imaging section; and a synthesis processing section 14 for image-synthesizing the plurality of pieces of divided image data to which the gain is applied by the gain application section 15 and generating synthesized image data of one frame. When the plurality of pieces of divided image data are acquired in the imaging section 1, the number of divided frames is not changed in the period of a first period, and the gain application section 15 changes the gain so that the almost same image output is obtained in a next period of the first period where the number of divided frames is changed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
