The present invention relates to a device for measuring tension in food and a method for the same, wherein change in tension due to difference between the width and the inner circumference among the width, the inner circumference, and the thickness, which are a shape parameter of a ring sample is measured by being applied with a Laplace law, and the change in the tension by the thickness is measured using a dimensionless thickness ratio. The device for measuring the tension in the food includes: an inlet unit outputting a tension measuring request signal; a control unit outputting an operation control signal for measuring the tension by corresponding to the tension measuring request signal, measuring the tension of a food sample by receiving a pin moving distance measuring signal and a rupture force measuring signal from the outside, and generating and outputting a food tissue information based on the measured tension; a tension measurement operating unit enabling both pins of a tension measuring unit to be separated from each other at a fixed speed to correspond to the operation control signal for measuring the tension of the control unit; a rupture force measuring unit connected to the tension measurement operating unit and outputting a force to the control unit by measuring the force applied to the both pins; and a pin distance measuring unit installed between the both pins and outputting the distance between the both pins to the control unit by measuring the distance between the both pins. So, the device for measuring the tension in the food can measure and compare the tension regardless of the shape of the ring sample generated to measure the tension of the food. |
