PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent over-discharge in a charge control device, and suppress a power generation load by an engine to improve fuel efficiency.SOLUTION: Control means (18) of a charge control device (3) includes: charge/discharge amount calculation means (24) for calculating a charge/discharge amount from charge/discharge currents of a battery (2) detected by a current sensor (14); and power generation control means (25) for controlling a power generation amount generated by power generation means (5). When the charge/discharge amounts of the battery (2) become equal to an upper-limit discharge threshold, the power generation control means (25) controls the power generation means (5) to execute restraint power generation in which a power generation amount is suppressed such that the power generation amount becomes balanced with a discharge amount.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
