The present invention relates to a flexible display device. The flexible display device comprises: a substrate; a light emitting diode formed on one side of the substrate; a plurality of thin film transistors formed on one side of the substrate; and a driving circuit unit for driving the light emitting diode. The thin film transistor can include a pillar-shaped gate electrode extended in a vertical direction on one side of the substrate, a gate insulation layer for covering the exterior surface of the gate electrode, a semiconductor layer disposed on the exterior surface of the gate insulation layer; and first and second conductive layers for covering first and second areas of the semiconductor, respectively.
