Provided are: an air belt configured so that a load on a vehicle occupant when the air belt is inflated can be reduced; and an air belt device. An air belt 1 is provided with a bag 2 which is disposed on webbing W for restraining a vehicle occupant M and which, in an emergency, is inflated by gas supplied to the bag 2. The bag 2 is provided with: an inflatable first chamber 21 disposed at the lower part of the bag 2; an inflatable second chamber 22 disposed at the upper part of the bag 2; and one or more gas flow passages 23 for connecting the first chamber 21 and the second chamber 22 so that the first and second chambers 21, 22 can be in communication with each other. The gas flow passages 23 are formed so that the inflation height h2 thereof is smaller than the inflation height h1 of the first chamber 21 and the inflation height h2 of the second chamber 22. |
