摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion apparatus which can output the input AC powers received, respectively, from multi-phase power supplies, while converting into multi-phase output AC powers, to a load by controlling a matrix converter appropriately, and can output the AC input voltages received from the multi-phase power supplies, while boosting, to the load. <P>SOLUTION: The power conversion apparatus 101 comprises: a matrix converter 1 which can output the input AC powers received, respectively, from multi-phase power supplies Pa, Pb, Pc, while converting into multi-phase output AC powers, to a load, and can output the input AC voltages received from the multi-phase power supplies Pa, Pb, Pc, while boosting, to the load; and a control unit 4 for controlling the matrix converter 1 so as to change the power factor of the input AC power according to the power factor of the load AC power supplied from the matrix converter 1 to the load, based on the frequency of the input AC power and the frequency of the output AC power. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
