PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system capable of outputting a high quality image whose graininess is hardly sensed for a dot pattern of an individual color material and for a sum of dot patterns of a plurality of color materials and an image processing method.SOLUTION: The image processing system performs quantization processing so that the dispersibility of a dot pattern of a color material initially imparted to a recording medium is made to be higher than the dispersibility of a dot pattern of a color material subsequently imparted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
