INNER STRUCTURE OF LNG STORAGE TANK IN LNG CARRIER

PURPOSE: An interior structure of an LNG storage tank for an LNG carrier is provided to reduce the amount of remaining LNG, since LNG to be discharged flows into a sump area of an LNG storage tank bottom surface and then flows out. CONSTITUTION: An interior structure of LNG storage tank for an LNG carrier comprises an LNG storage tank(1), a streaming pump(4), and a pump tower(2). A sump area is concavely formed on a bottom surface of the LNG storage tank in the lateral direction. An inlet port of the pump is formed inside the sump area and is lower than the bottom surface. The streaming pump discharges LNG inside the LNG storage tank. The pump tower is installed on the base layer of the sump area. The pump tower is installed on the bottom of the LNG storage tank.
