<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform process control due to a battery voltage drop according to whether or not a core unit is docked to a docking unit by detachably docking a unit which controls the main operation of the system and a unit consisting principally of an extension function by the bridge of a system bus. SOLUTION: The core unit 2 which controls the main operation of the system and the BJ dock unit consisting principally of an extension function are docked detachably by the bridge of the PCI bus 51. Here, the IC 52 of the core unit 2 controls the connection with the BJ dock unit. Further, a controller 53 sends and receives directional signals to and from the controller of the BJ dock unit to detect whether or not both the units are docked together and also detects a decrease in the rest capacity of a driving battery according to stages. Once the decrease in the rest capacity of the driving battery is detected, an operation stopping processing or operation end processing for the system corresponding to the detection result of the docking is selected and performed.</p> |
