摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat radiator which can efficiently radiate heat received from heating elements while at the same time suppressing noise. SOLUTION: An air duct 18 formed along the other side face 20b of a base 20 in a heatsink 16 is so structured that the air forcibly taken into the air duct 18 by driving of a fan 19 is caused to flow in one direction from an inlet port 18a toward an outlet port 18b. Due to this structure, even after the air is warmed by heat exchange with the heatsink 16 and then is exhausted as warm air via the outlet port 18b, it is prevented that the warm air goes around to the inlet port 18a side and is taken into the air duct 18 again via the inlet port 18a. Because of the existence of an inclined portion 17a, the air is surely guided between each projection 21 in the heatsink 16 and to the base 20 which is the hottest part in the heatsink 16. Therefore, more air is brought into contact with a surface of the heatsink 16 (base 20 and projections 21) which faces the air duct 18. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
