<p>The invention relates to a prefabricated wall element for a tower construction, essentially of concrete, arranged to form one of several wall portions of a building formed by circumferential shell portions of one of several shell portions stacked on each other, wherein the wall element is constituted by a substantially flat sheet portion comprising a pair of opposite sides intended to run substantially horizontally in the building and a pair of opposite sides intended to run in a direction forming a predetermined angle to the horizontal plane in the building, and along which sides the wall element includes compressive and tensile load absorbing pillar portions and is intended to be connected to adjacent wall elements.
