The present invention relates to a vertical alignment film comprising a (co)polymer of a cyclic olefin compound. More particularly, the vertical alignment film can have orientation at a low temperature process, and can exhibit excellent vertical orientation of liquid crystals by comprising the (co)polymer of the cyclic olefin compound having a particular substituent group.
