Aqueous glass cleaning compositions with optimal antifog properties contain a quaternary compound and an amphoteric surfactant having the formula wherein: R1 and R2 are independently alkyl groups or R2 is a single bond (wherein R1+R2 is C6-14), k is 0 or 1, l is 1-6, m is 1-4, R3 is -CH2OH or -COOM (wherein M is H or alkali metal), n is 1-4, p is 1-4 and R4 is -COOM.
