PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for evaluating a water permeation characteristic in front of a tunnel pit face that enable evaluation in a short period of time while suppressing fluctuation in a groundwater level in bedrock around the evaluated location.SOLUTION: An evaluation method is for evaluating a water permeation characteristic of bedrock 3 in front of a pit face 2 of a tunnel 1. One of two boreholes drilled along a tunnel axis on the bedrock 3 in front of the pit face 2, leaving a prescribed interval between the boreholes, is set as a water injection hole A, and the other is set as a drainage hole B. Water is injected into the water injection hole A while water of the same amount as the injected water is drained from the drainage hole B, and a change with time of injected water pressure and drained water pressure is measured at the same time. The water permeation characteristic of the bedrock 3 is evaluated based on the measured values.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
