PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to excellently achieve acceleration of a processing speed when performing a prescribed control.SOLUTION: In a VDP 105 of a display control device 100, on the basis of a drawing instruction from a display CPU 102, creates drawing data for a drawing area 135. Image data being processed when creating the drawing data are stored in a character ROM 106 in advance. The image data stored in the character ROM 106 are read through a bridge LSI 109 into a bridge side RAM 107 and a VDP side RAM 108, and the VDP 105 creates the above drawing data by processing the image data read into these RAM 107, and 108. In this case, when a power supply is started, a plurality of kinds of data groups are transferred to the RAM 107 and 108 according to a predetermined priority order.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14 |
