This electric power converting device is provided with: an active circuit unit which emits noise; an output-side filter circuit unit; a casing having a first space and a second space respectively accommodating the active circuit unit and the filter circuit unit; and a baseplate which is provided in such a way as to cover at least the first space, and which is electrically connected to the casing. The casing has a first separating wall demarcating the first space and the second space. The baseplate is disposed covering the first space and has a second separating wall which runs alongside the first separating wall. The second separating wall is disposed in the first space, between the filter circuit unit and the first separating wall.
