PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric brake system which has redundancy in an electric power system and can increase the degree of freedom in a mounting space of component parts.SOLUTION: An electric brake system comprises a plurality of electric brake devices. A control device 2 of each electric brake device has an abnormality determination part 26 which determines existence or nonexistence of abnormality in electric power supply from an electric power supply device 3 to the electric brake device, and a redundant function control part 27 which controls brake force by using an auxiliary electric power source 18 according to a set condition when the abnormality determination part 26 determines that there is abnormality in electric power supply from the electric power supply device 3 to the electric brake device. The redundant function control part 27, when as the set condition, desired brake force is not exerted only by all electric brake devices on which at least the abnormality determination part 26 determines that there is no abnormality in electric power supply, controls the brake force by using the auxiliary electric power source 18.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
