<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust the valve opening and closing timing with the simple structure by changing the balance condition while increasing and decreasing the rotary load so as to extend and shrink an elastic member, and increasing and decreasing the rotary phase of a shaft side rotor in relation to a drive side rotor. SOLUTION: In the condition that a pair of brake pads 32, 32 are separated from a disk 30, a drive load and the elastic force by a build-in spring are balanced in an exhaust delay drive transmitting means 19, and with the rotation of a timing belt 20, an exhaust cam shaft 16 is rotated with a constant rotary phase. At this stage of non-load, an oil valve 38 is controlled by the control signal from an ECU 28, and the oil from an oil pump 35 is supplied to a brake caliper 37, and when the braking force is applied to the disk 30, the rotary load of the exhaust cam shaft 16 is increased, and the exhaust cam shaft 16 is rotated with a new constant phase at a constant rotating speed so as to delay the timing for opening and closing the exhaust valve 14 with the exhaust cam 15.</p> |
