PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal for an anti-friction bearing in which grease enclosed in the bearing does not leak, a lip does not break, or dust proofing does not lower even when used in a high temperature environment. SOLUTION: The seal 1 is comprised of a core bar 2 made of metal, and an elastic body 3 made of rubber. The elastic body 3 has the lip 13 coming in contact with a receiving groove 51 of an internal ring 5. The elastic body 3 is formed of rubber material in which the stress at 10% strain after air aging test of 1000 h at 130°C depending on JIS K6257 is 0.3 to 5.0 MPa, the breaking elongation after the test is not less than 50%, and the permanent compression strain set after 70 h compression heating at 130°C depending on JIS K6262 is 0 to 35%.
