PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brushless DC motor capable of reducing torque ripple by preventing a disconnection of magnetic fluxes and minimizing the leakage of the fluxes. SOLUTION: A plurality of holes for preventing the disconnection of fluxes are arranged over a region up to outer circumferential edges of a rotor core from the gap between respective mounting holes into which magnets are slidden in a rotor core. The holes for preventing the disconnection of fluxes are formed in symmetry relative to a first line from the center of the rotor core to the center of adjacent mounting holes, and an angle between the first line and the second line from the center of the rotor core to the outside end of the plurality of holes for preventing the disconnection of fluxes is roughly 15°to 20°. Preferably, a length between outer circumferential edge of the rotor core and outer circumferential edge of the plurality of holes for preventing the disconnection of fluxes and a length between respective magnets and the plurality of holes for preventing the disconnection of fluxes are formed smaller than the gap between the rotor core and the stator, respectively.
