METHOD FOR EVALUATING SUITABILITY OF DUODENAL JUICE SAMPLE AS SAMPLE FOR DETECTING PANCREATIC JUICE-DERIVED COMPONENT

Provided is a method for evaluating whether or not a duodenal juice sample collected from an animal is suitable as a sample for detecting a pancreatic juice-derived component. The method for evaluating suitability of a duodenal juice sample as a sample for detecting a pancreatic juice-derived component comprises: (a) a step for mixing the duodenal juice sample with a chymotrypsin-specific substrate and measuring the chymotrypsin-specific substrate degradation activity of the duodenal juice sample; (b) a step for mixing the duodenal juice sample with a pepsin-specific substrate and measuring the pepsin-specific substrate degradation activity of the duodenal juice sample; and (c) a step for evaluating whether or not the duodenal juice sample is suitable as a sample for detecting the pancreatic juice-derived component on the basis of the chymotrypsin-specific substrate degradation activity of the duodenal juice sample and the pepsin-specific substrate degradation activity of the duodenal juice sample.
