PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage of a cable by friction in insertion of the cable and tension in winding of the cable or vibration in transportation by providing a shock-absorbing member on a winding starting port of a drum for winding an electric wire cable or to enhance recycling of the winding drum by using the shock-absorbing member. SOLUTION: In the winding drum 1 provided with the winding starting port 4 for exposing the cable to an outer part of a flange part 3 by inserting a winding starting end of the cable to be wound on the flange part 3 of the drum 1 for winding the electric wire cable, the shock-absorbing member 7 for protecting the cable inserted/retained in the winding starting port 4 is provided.
