An image forming apparatus is provided to prevent an optical scan unit from being damaged and minimize the noise derived from set vibration. An image forming apparatus includes a support member, an optical scan case and elastic member. The support member includes a coupling member and a hook part. The support member is provided in a state in which the support member is erected inside a body. The optical scan case is coupled to the support member(220) and has an optical scan assembly. The elastic member is disposed in the optical scan case. The elastic member exerts an elastic force such that the optical scan case is pulled to the support member in a state in which the optical scan case is coupled to the optical scan case. The hook part is coupled to the coupling member.
