摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric storage element which balances high output density with high energy density. <P>SOLUTION: The nonaqueous lithium type electric storage element is composed by housing, in an armoring body: an electrode laminate formed by laminating a negative electrode body with a negative electrode active material layer formed on a negative electrode collector, a positive electrode body with a positive electrode active material layer formed on a positive electrode collector, and a separator; and a nonaqueous electrolytic solution containing an electrolyte containing lithium ions. In the nonaqueous lithium type electric storage element, the negative electrode active material layer contains a material storing and releasing lithium ions; the positive electrode active material layer contains active carbon; the bulk density D (g/cm<SP>3</SP>) of the positive electrode active material layer is 0.45&le;D&le;0.65; and the thickness L (&mu;m) of the positive electrode active material layer is 20&le;L&le;100. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
