PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the malfunction in a CPU or a chip set mounted on a device by improving the drop of the output voltage during supply of a large current to a load without being affected by the rise time at start of a switching power source. SOLUTION: A soft start circuit possesses a detecting circuit which detects output voltage having changed, and a correction circuit which corrects the soft start circuit, whereby it improves the voltage drop (dip) by widening the width of switching pulses in case that it detects the output voltage having dropped temporarily.
