A power-failure compensating operation method and a device of an automatic medicine packing machine are provided to save simply medicine preparation data by a back-up file and to search and load exactly the back-up file about medicine to be packed, in applying an electric current after a power failure by deleting the back-up file about the previous medicine packed completely. A power-failure compensating operation method of an automatic medicine packing machine comprises the steps of: receiving medicine preparation data from a server computer, arranging the medicine preparation data according to the order of preparation, classifying data according to each packing unit, and generating back-up files for each classified packing unit(S1); storing the generated back-up files in a storing unit(S2); packing medicine according to the medicine preparation data and deleting the back-up file corresponding to the medicine preparation data about the completely packed medicine(S3); detecting an electric current through an electric current sensing unit if the electric current is applied after the power failure during a medicine packing process(S4); and packing the medicine according to the back-up file stored in the storing unit if information about the application of an electric current is inputted from the electric current sensing unit(S5). |
