<p>The invention relates to valve means for a flow pipe, the valve means (1) comprising a cylindrical or sleeve like body part (11) having a length (L) which is longer than the extension (I) of a flow opening (4) in the flow pipe (2). The body part (11) is fastenable to the flow pipe (2) or to a branch part (17) of the flow pipe (2) by connecting means (12,13), whereby the connecting means comprises first flange means (12) extending in a first direction of the flow pipe (2) and second flange means (13) extending in a direction opposite to the first direction of the flow pipe (2), said first and second flange means (12,13) being fastened to the body part (11).
