A plasma display panel dielectric composition is provided to produce an environment-friendly plasma display panel capable of improving an electric power efficiency. A plasma display panel dielectric composition includes 3-10 parts by weight of silicon dioxide(SiO2), 17-35 parts by weight of boron oxide(B2O3), 25-48 parts by weight of zinc oxide(ZnO), 10-20 parts by weight of barium oxide(BaO), and further phosphoric acid(P2O5). A plasma display panel includes: a front substrate(101); a back substrate(110) that faces the front substrate; and a dielectric layer(104) which is formed on the front substrate and consists of the dielectric composition.
