PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cut a road surface in the same form as a curved slope surface.SOLUTION: A cutting drum 320 is mounted on a base member 260 fitted on a bottom surface of a vehicle body of a self-traveling vehicle, the cutting drum having a rotation axis extending in a vehicle width direction. The cutting drum 320 is divided into two parts such that both edge parts in an axial direction may be displaced relative to a central part in a vertical direction, and portions at the location of division are formed as concave and convex parts 342A leaving a prescribed interval and may be fitted to each other. Vertical positions of both edge parts of the cutting drum 320 relative to the central part are changed as appropriate, for cutting a road surface in the same form as a curved slope surface. Since the portions at the location of division of the cutting drum 320 are formed as concave and convex parts that may be fitted to each other leaving a prescribed interval, no part of the road surface is left without being cut in the axial direction, even when the cutting drum 320 is deformed into a V-shape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
