<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery enhancing current collecting efficiency by making a current collecting plate contact with a plain part in a wide area, and capable of installing so that the center of a current collecting plate is easily made to agree with that of an electrode group. <P>SOLUTION: The secondary battery includes an electrode group 110 having a positive electrode 112, a negative electrode 113, and a separator 114 interposed between the positive electrode 112 and the negative electrode 113; a case 120 into which the electrode group 110 is housed and having an opening; a cap assembly 140 joined to the opening of the case 120 and electrically connected to the electrode group 110; and current collecting plates (a positive current collecting plate 150, a negative current collecting plate 170) electrically connected to the positive electrode 112 or the negative electrode 113, and in which guide parts (an outside guide part 154, an inside guide part 152) are bent toward the electrode group 110 and brought into contact with the electrode group 110. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
