<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve efficient data reference/edition or the like using an index list and further a data addition/insertion/deletion operation in units of rows/columns. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the index list 13, each of list elements corresponding to each data is sequentially and serially connected to each other from the head. In addition, a maximum column number is stored. When accessing arbitrary (row number, column number) data, the data can be accessed by obtaining the number (sequential order from the head list element 30) of a list element 30 corresponding to the data with "maximum column number×(row number-1)+column number". In addition, a data addition/insertion/deletion operation can be performed in units of rows/columns, by connecting predetermined one or more list elements 30 of a list corresponding to data in units of rows/columns to be added/inserted to predetermined one or more list elements 30 of the index list 13.
