<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal recovering method in which, when valuable metal-containing waste water is fed to a chelating resin column to allow ions of the metal to be adsorbed and then the metal ions adsorbed by the chelating resin are eluted for recovery, the amount of a chemical used for the elution of the metal ions is reduced, and the recovery solution containing the metal ions at high concentration is obtained. <P>SOLUTION: In the method, an adsorption step of feeding the metal-containing waste water to a chelating resin column 2 and a recovery step of feeding an eluent containing a mineral acid to the chelating resin column are alternately repeated. The recovery step includes an elution step of adding the mineral acid to a column effluent recovered in the last recovery step and feeding the resulting mixture to the chelating resin column 2 in an upflow manner and an extrusion step of feeding water to the chelating resin column 2 in a downflow manner. A column effluent from the elution step and a column effluent from the extrusion step are recovered and reused as a next eluent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
