PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent abnormal video output when switching between a 2D program and a 3D program in a digital broadcasting receiver.SOLUTION: In receiving digital signals in which 3D video program content and 2D video program content are mixed, the receiver receives a digital signal including first identification information, and second identification information. The former identifies whether a received program content is a 3D video program or a 2D video program, while the latter identifies an ending point of the video program content. The receiver performs: decoding the received digital signal; outputting a program content included in the decoded digital signal by converting the digital signal into a predetermined display video format or output video format; detecting, in the output, that the 2D video program content and the 3D video program content are to switch based the first identification information; and switching to the 2D output video format output when identifying an ending point of the 3D video program content based on the second identification information. |
