A device to string a rope overhead comprising a bag for releasably holding weight means therein, attachment means secured to the bag and a line, a portion thereof to be releasably secured to the rope. Attachment means are secured to an end of the line to be releasably attachable to the attachment means secured to the bag. This device is both simple and effective for campers to use.
